1. What this app does

  • Public users can browse the live product catalogue, filter by groups, search, expand cards to view full pack details, and download the catalogue.
  • Admins can log in, seed or update data, upload images, and manage brand settings with a complete audit trail (who changed what and when).
  • Nova Navigator (AI) helps viewers quickly find items, filter by size/price, and jump to products — using only the local catalogue data.

2. Quick start for everyone

  1. Go to https://catalogue.novapurefoods.in/.
  2. Click View Our Catalogue to open the product list.
  3. Use the group chips (All, Pastas, Flours, Canned & RTE, Juices, Pickles & Vinegar) and the search box to narrow results.
  4. Each product shows a details strip (Packing Type • Size • /Case • HSN • MRP). Click a card to expand and see the full packaging table (incl. GS1) and description.
  5. Download options:
    • Download Catalogue: if a brochure PDF was uploaded by Admin, it downloads immediately; otherwise a portable single‑file HTML is generated.
    • Use the caret menu for Install App (PWA) or the Interactive Offline (.html) file.

3. Using Nova Navigator (AI)

  1. Click the chat button at the top‑right.
  2. Type a request like “show 500 g pouches under ₹150”, “HSN for Semolina Penne”, or “Take me to Mango Pulp Alphonso”.
  3. Use the links in the answers to jump straight to the product or filtered view.
  4. Admins additionally get helpers to suggest USPs (≤5 words), normalize units (kg↔g, L↔ml), and check HSN/GS1 presence.

4. Admin login (OTP)

  1. Open the app and press Shift + . (or visit /manage?key=npf-rotate-me-monthly).
  2. Select your admin email from the dropdown or type it in, then click Send OTP.
  3. Enter the OTP received on email to sign in. After success, an Admin pill appears linking to the Admin area.

Note: Email delivery requires configuration. Ask your technical contact to set either RESEND_API_KEY + FROM_EMAIL or MAILGUN_API_KEY + MAILGUN_DOMAIN + MAILGUN_FROM.

5. Admin — key tabs

  1. Brand Settings: Upload logo, set colors, edit the 60–90 word “About Us” (live counter), choose default download (Uploaded PDF / Generated PDF / Offline ZIP / Single HTML).
  2. Groups: Reorder (drag), set intro + USP chips, toggle visibility.
  3. Products: Edit name, group, key1/key2, description, tags, media, optional video.
  4. Packaging: Maintain packingType, sizeValue/unit, piecesPerCase, case L×W×H (cm), HSN, MRP, GS1.
  5. Media: Upload Card (1200×900), Square (1200×1200), Hero (1920×1080). Use Bulk Upload (.zip) named by product slug/partial to auto‑match. Replacements are manual only.
  6. Data:
    • Hard Reset & Reseed — wipes and reseeds groups/products/packs from the master CSV (deterministic).
    • Run Image Importer — tries PDF → official brand sites; fills only empty slots and preserves manual uploads.
  7. Export: Generate brochure PDF, Offline ZIP/Single HTML, and JSON feed (admin only).
  8. Audit Trail: Review who changed what and when.

6. Seeding & images

  1. Go to Admin → Data and click Hard Reset & Reseed (confirm the prompt). The home and catalogue will update with fresh groups/products.
  2. Click Run Image Importer or upload images from Admin → Media. Until images exist, branded 1:1 placeholders are shown automatically.

7. Tips & troubleshooting

  • OTP not arriving: ensure email keys are set; check spam; resend. The app won’t show dev OTPs when email is configured.
  • No horizontal scroll: the catalogue is vertical‑only. If layout looks off after an update, hard refresh the page.
  • Counts don’t match: run Hard Reset & Reseed again. If available, use Rebuild Counts.
  • Install App: use the caret menu → Install App (PWA) on supported browsers.
  • Keyboard: use ←/→ to move focus between cards, Enter to expand, Esc to collapse.
